What is jBatik?
We created software to generate pattern by math (fractal) formula which then can be applied to the fabrics. From one fractal formula, the software can generate various patterns by simply changing its parameters. One pattern can also be modified or combined with other patterns, creating various new patterns. They can also be exported to *.jpg, *.png or *.obj file formats. User can also copy the formula provided in Galleries, manipulating the formula, iterations or angles of the fractal to produce various results. End results can be saved in png format for further development.
How does jBatik works?
Create one pattern, produce many
With jBatik, you can create one pattern using jBatik formula, and then change parameters to produce various new patterns. Save each pattern that you like into Library, which you can layout later
Draw and Create Simple Pattern Using Our “Draw Formula”
jBatik Helps you create simple formula by drawing it first, and then creates a simple formula from your drawing, which you can edit later
Create 3D drawings
From left or right, front or backward, you can enrich your patterns designs from various 3 dimensional viewings
Layout your Patterns Easily
Once you have enough Library objects, layout those patterns using our Template Layout, or create your own layout.
Edit your Pattern
Have second thought about the feather’s color? Or should the Phoenix pattern face left instead of right? Image Editor can edit your pattern in Library
Import your Own Library
Have a pattern you like? jBatik can import your picture in *.png, then you can layout it using jBatik formula
Save your Design
As pictures in *.jpg or *.png, or export your 3D design as *.obj
